About Ae Adventure
Who are we?
Ae Adventure is run by Rob Gray, Walt Brydon, a number of experienced guides and a great support team. The name Ae Adventure is new name for an already experienced company which has been operating in the south of Spain for the last three years. About to enter our fourth year of running biking holidays it was decided that the old name Sunshine Breaks, perfect for the Spanish Experience perhaps wasn’t the best name for running biking trips in Scotland!! For anyone who has been on one of Rob’s trips he is still very much in charge of operations and the quality (and fun times) you’ve come to expect have now been enhanced with the arrival of Walt Brydon into the frame.
Originally Walt came out on one of our biking holidays and loved it so much that when the opportunity came along to get involved with the new Ae Adventure concept he jumped at the chance. He brings with him a lot of experience and the necessary skills to ensure that anyone booking a trip with Ae Adventure gets a great experience right from the first contact.
Our UK base is now in Ae Forest and anyone coming along to the 7 Stanes centre in the south of Scotland is welcome to come into Ae Bike Shop & Café for a chat (and a coffee of course) and ask any questions you might have about our trips.
Ae Adventure Guides & Support Staff
“It’s all about the experience” and our guides and support staff are testament to everything Ae Adventure is about. We use some of the top guides from the UK and beyond to run our trips and ensure the only thing you need to worry about is when to get up and out on the trails! Some of our guides have been around the race circuits taking prizes in national downhill, xc and triathlon competitions. Others just love riding and all they want to do is head out on their bikes every day. Our support staff take care of everything from cooking to driving whilst others bring essential skills such as massage to the table (pardon the pun!). Above all, everyone that works for Ae Adventure is good fun to hang out with and all want to make sure you have a memorable trip!
