Ae Ladies Week
Ladies, book now for a luxurious week of fun in the sun. This has to be one of the best girls holiday weeks available for those who like to mountain bike and also enjoy a little bit of pampering and relaxation.
You will leave this holiday feeling refreshed, lively and ready for anything. Not only do you get to mountain bike the incredible trails of this beautiful area in the south of Spain but on the Ae Adventure Ladies Week we make sure you are well and truly pampered and looked after when you’re not riding.
When you first come across you’ll be transferred to the Ae Adventure Mountain Villa where you will stay for the week. The villa is at the top of a traditional white pueblo village and the views are simply stunning. You’ll then get a chance to meet and chat to all the other girls booked in for the week. The rest of the evening you’ll get settled in your room and relax in what is now your home for the week. A glass of wine on the terrace might be in order.
The next day you’ll get your first taste of the riding as you head out onto the trails with an Ae Adventure guide for a fairly easy few hours of mountain biking. The group will dictate the level of riding but there is something for everyone here no matter what your ability on a bike. If you don’t like going at mach 10 that’s fine, throughout the week you’ll get to progress at a pace that suits you and as your skills improve you’ll get to take on more challenging routes.
Some nights you might look to head down into the local village where there is a choice of some great local bars and restaurants. The bars in the village still serve traditional tapas (small plates of food) and these come free with every drink you buy. The village is stunning, clean and the locals are very friendly.
Back to the biking though and you’ll get to head up to some of the high points in the area where you will be amazed as you take in the scenery. At some places on a clear day you can see all the way across the Mediterranean to Africa. Ae Adventure has a support driver who takes care of drop offs and pick ups which allows you to see more of the region on your mountain bike. The terrain is varied from incredible sections of single track, stunning forest trails, some great riding through the narrow streets of the villages and much, much more. You’ll get to see it all in this fun filled week.
So there you have it, great accommodation, great company, incredible mountain biking, amazing food, yoga, massage, traditional Spanish villages, oh and did we mention that this region gets more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in Europe?

After the first day on the bikes you’ll meet Natasha who will be on hand to deal with any aches and pains throughout the week. She is the best massage therapist in the area as well as being a qualified yoga instructor. You can chat to her and decide what extra activities you’d like to take on in the afternoons or at night. There will be a chance for you to take part in some yoga sessions and get your body revitalised with a therapeutic massage.
Most nights you’ll also get to sample the delights of the Ae Adventure chef. Freshly prepared home cooked healthy meals using locally grown produce will be served up through the week. You will be delighted at the standard and our guest book comments pay testament to the quality of the food you’ll be served whilst you stay here.
There is also a free bar for wine (or beer if you wish) and this will be kept well stocked.
