Thank you so much Rob. What a great time. Biking was fantastic. Terrific routes with great views and just enough climbing. My skill level increased dramatically as the week progressed. And the food - WOW! I never expected such gourmet meals. I'll certainly recommend to friends and hope to be back.

We had a fantastic time at Casa Escocia, I would highly recommend this place, as it's in such a beautiful part of the world and the food and hospitality are second to none. We've been here before and decided to come back again. Using Casa Escocia as a base we visited the surrounding area and it was great to come back to beautiful home cooked meals and as much wine as we could drink (after our 10 month old daughter was tucked up in bed!). We had days out in Granada, Almeria, Adra & Berja, none of which were too far away. I'm a big fan of food and the tapas in the local bars in Valor, Ugijar and Berja are fantastic (and free when you buy a cerveza ... brilliant). Anyone who's looking at this area should definately give this place a try.

It is hard to sum up in words how great this place is. Casa Escocia is everything that most holidays promise but don't deliver. The home cooked food has been great, biking Great, went out donkey whalloping (Horse Riding!) but most of all relaxed in a family home. Our girls have had so much fun just being kids. All in all the perfect package. See you all again soon!

Had a great time, there were 6 of us doing different activities Tons of options whether walking, cycling or driving. Having somebody that knew the area so well & spoke English meant we enjoyed the area to the full without doing the normal research & without having to stick together all the time. Mary & Rob made us very welcome, part of the family, the only downside was coming home & the weighing scales - Mary's cooking is great!

feel so welcome. The food was wonderful; Mary, you obviously went out of your way
to provide us with vegan food, which was delicious and plentiful, thank you! Also,
the little touches added to our stay, such as the cups of tea and coffee, and a bottle
of beer left on the table for us when we returned from a day out, great! We will
